Welcome to Amazing Ash.
We are a Year 1/2 class. We enjoy learning and playing together and working as a team.
Our motto: On our own we are talented, but together we are AWESOME! (T. Hawes)
These are the people who help us with our learning.

Our classroom where we have lots of fun learning together and independently.
In Amazing Ash, we aim to create experiences which are exciting, and capture the interests of our children. Through well planned topics, we hope that the children are stimulated and challenged at the level they need to be, and therefore develop into well rounded individuals. Our topics can be either chosen by the teachers eg The Great Fire of London, Growing and The Seaside, or chosen by the children eg Magic, Dinosaurs, Kings and Queens and Chocolate.
We always begin each new topic with a ‘WOW’ starter or experience.
Fruit, water and regular physical breaks keep our brains ready for learning.
Our Reading Corner links each term with our topic. We have lots of fun reading with our friends.
In September we began to work together as a team creating our learning environment so that we can all achieve. Class rules were established and promises made.
We have lots of things in class which make us outstanding learners, help us become good friends and do the right thing.
